'Important piece of the puzzle' - Who is Walsall's new head of recruitment Andy McGregor
Mat Sadler says the appointment of Andy McGregor as the new head of recruitment will be a "very important piece of the puzzle" at Walsall.
The hierarchy announced its decision to create the newly-formed role at the Fans' Forum in July and confirmed that a candidate had already been identified.
McGregor was unveiled in the role last week, after previously working with Swansea City, Preston North End and Plymouth Argyle among others.
'It serves as another block'

"We've never had one, and as a football club, is serves as another building block," boss Sadler said.
"It's something that other clubs, and most clubs at our level have got them, but it's something that we've never had.
"But I think it's a very important piece of the puzzle. You've seen how relentless the January window can be.
"It's so hard, so to have the tight team that we've had whilst also focusing on games, has been so tough in the past.
"So it's a brilliant appointment to move us in that next direction."
