Daniel Kanu cancelled out Kai Whitmore's 16th-minute opener within 60 seconds with his sixth goal of the season, before Ryan Finnigan completed the turnaround with a quick fire second.

Finnigan bagged his brace later in the first half, but Gerard Garner halved the deficit with a composed finish on the cusp of half-time.

Rico Browne restored the Saddlers' two-goal cushion eight minutes after the restart when he opened his goal scoring account for the club with a near post finish.

"Ryan came in and hasn't played the last couple of weeks. He looked very strong," Sadler said.

"I was delighted to see him get a couple of goals, he deserved them. We want to see him crash the box even more because he has got a great finishing ability.

"We had a chance after 20 seconds and a really good one as well. I was delighted with how many chances we created.
