The 22-year-old, who joined Walsall from Airdrieonians in the summer, has not featured since dislocating his knee in a 1-0 home defeat against Grimsby Town on August 19.

Hancock started four times prior to his injury and was ruled out for "four to six months" after undergoing surgery.

Sadler has previously earmarked a possible return in late January and is optimistic that Hancock will be able to make his comeback after the New Year.
