"I'm like a sponge" - Daniel Kanu eager to learn after his strong start at Walsall
Walsall loanee Daniel Kanu says he has been like a "sponge" in his quest to become a multidimensional striker at Bescot.
The 20-year-old, who is on loan from Championship side Charlton Athletic, scored his fourth goal of the season during the Saddlers' 2-1 defeat against Barrow on Saturday.
Kanu impressed despite the result and ended his mini-drought of three games without a goal to become Walsall's joint-leading scorer this term.
The Sierra Leone frontman has an insatiable appetite for success and an eagerness to learn during his loan spell.
