Walsall's Connor Barrett credits growing 'belief' for his strong start to the season

Walsall wing-back Connor Barrett says "confidence" has been key to helping him increase his goal scoring numbers this term.

The 23-year-old registered 10 assists during his debut campaign at Bescot, but remarkably failed to find the net. 

Barrett extended his season tally to three goals with an excellent equaliser at Crawley last weekend, and also had two assists to his name so far this season.

After making such a bright start to his second season, Barrett is pleased to see his efforts to improve in front of goal rewarded of late.
