'Timing is everything' Walsall outline approach for finding academy loan opportunities
Mat Sadler says "timing is everything" amid Walsall's quest to find loan spells for a number of their academy players.
The Walsall boss stated at the beginning of pre-season that he was looking to find loan opportunities for the likes of Stan Straw, Mcloyd Oben, Paul Makavore, Dylan Thomas and Charlie Wragg.
Wragg has since re-joined Halesowen on a work experience loan, while Oben has played twice for local neighbours Stourbridge during pre-season.
All five featured from the bench alongside fellow academy graduate Ronan Maher during the Saddlers' 4-0 win at Leamington in early July.
