Walsall boss Mat Sadler provides positive Harrison Burke injury update
Mat Sadler has confirmed Walsall defender Harrison Burke will be available for their trip to Gillingham on Saturday.
The 22-year-old, who impressed in pre-season following his summer arrival from Chester, missed their 2-1 opening day win over Swindon Town on Saturday with an ankle injury.
He suffered the injury just before the hour-mark during the Saddlers' 3-0 win over Forest Green Rovers in pre-season.
Burke was set to be assessed leading up to the game, with Sadler ranking his chances of being available at '50/50'.
But he was not involved as Walsall started the season in winning fashion, although Sadler has reassured that he will be back in contention when they travel to Kent later this week.
