Walsall defender Harrison Burke "50/50" ahead of their League Two opener against Swindon

Mat Sadler has revealed that Walsall defender Harrison Burke is "50/50" ahead of their League Two opener against Swindon Town on Saturday.

The 22-year-old, who has impressed during pre-season following his summer switch from Chester, limped off during the Saddlers' 3-0 win at Forest Green Rovers last weekend. 

Burke went down twice either side of the hour-mark before the Walsall bench decided to withdraw him. 

Sadler revealed after the final whistle that Burke had rolled his ankle and has been dealing with swelling throughout the week.

Harrison Burke ruled out for Walsall opener

22-year-old Harrison Burke has impressed during pre-season. The average age of Walsall's summer recruits is currently just 19.
Harrison Burke will be assessed before Walsall's league opener against Swindon on Saturday.
