Walsall forward Freddie Draper has revealed how the EFL Trophy played an instrumental role in his career.
The teenager scored his first goal for Lincoln City in a 2-0 win over Newcastle Under-21s last season.
He has made a positive start to life at Bescot – following up two assists with his maiden EFL goal in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Crewe Alexandra.
