Walsall's clash with Sheffield United postponed
Walsall's game at Sheffield United next month has been postponed due to international call-ups.
The League One fixture, which had been due to take place a week on Saturday, October 8, will now be rearranged after three members of the Saddlers squad were called up to their national teams.
Among them is Maz Kouhyar, who has received his first-ever call up for Afghanistan who travel to Malaysia for an international friendly match on October 11.
Andreas Makris has been called up for Cyprus for their World Cup European Qualifying double-header against Greece and Bosnia-Herzegovina three day later, while Liam Kinsella will also link up with the Republic of Ireland Under-21s for their UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against Serbia. Compatriot Kevin Toner is on the standby list.
