Walsall player exodus: Andy Taylor linked with move to League Two

Walsall's Andy Taylor is a transfer target for League Two outfit Blackpool, the Express & Star understands.

The 30-year-old full-back has been offered a one-year deal to remain at the Banks's Stadium but now looks set to turn down the offer in favour of a move to Bloomfield Road. - with sources in Lancashire claiming Blackpool have offered a two-year contract.

Following the departures of Romaine Sawyers, Jason Demetriou, Paul Downing and Milan Lalkovic – Walsall issued a statement yesterday confirming Taylor is yet to inform them whether or not he will be extending his stay at the club.

Sam Mantom and Jordan Cook are also yet to indicate where they will be playing their football next season while talks are ongoing with winger Anthony Forde.

Taylor joined the Saddlers from Sheffield United in 2012 and has made more than 100 appearances for the club.
