'No Molineux inquiry' for Saddlers' stars Tom Bradshaw and Rico Henry
Speculation linking Walsall stars Tom Bradshaw and Rico Henry with a move to Wolves has been dismissed.
Reports emerged yesterday that the talented duo could be set for a move across the West Midlands after the Championship side made an enquiry about their availability.
But Walsall boss Sean O'Driscoll insisted the rumour was not true and no approach had been made.
"I am unaware of any enquiry or approach for any of our players," O'Driscoll said.
"If I were, I would inform the appropriate player straight away before anyone else."
Kenny Jackett is looking to strengthen his squad following Benik Afobe's move to Bournemouth.
Meanwhile, O'Driscoll was quick to focus on the positives despite his side seeing their League One clash at Fleetwood called off for the second time yesterday.
The re-arranged tie, which was initially due to take place on December 12, was postponed once again because of a waterlogged pitch despite the Saddlers making the long trip to the Fylde Coast.
And though disappointed, O'Driscoll said it gives his squad more time to prepare for Saturday's FA Cup clash with Reading.
"It gives us some extra time for the FA Cup game so we might as well look at the positives," he said.
"We'll get on the grass to train on Wednesday, we would have been in for a recovery and had very little time to prepare for the Reading game. It gives us an extra day and enables one or two players to play in a reserve game Wednesday as well so there are a few positives that have come out of it.
"We've worked very hard to get to this stage of the FA Cup.
"Any time you come up against a Championship team is difficult. It's a game we can look forward to and it takes the pressure off from the league, where we're fighting to finish as high as we can. Everyone can relax a little bit and hopefully enjoy it as we did the Brentford game and if we can, get the same result."
