Sean O'Driscoll fancies Walsall's chances
Boss Sean O'Driscoll believes there will be more twists and turns in the League One title race but is confident his Walsall side will stay in contention.
The Saddlers travel to take on Fleetwood tonight, for a rescheduled fixture that was called off back in December due to a waterlogged pitch.
A victory would see O'Driscoll's men return to the automatic promotion spots and could see them top the division if Burton fail to win at Peterborough.
Walsall missed out on returning to the summit when they conceded a 94th-minute equaliser against Blackpool on Saturday.
But O'Driscoll believes there is plenty of time to move back to the top of the table, saying: "Nobody is going to run away with this division.
"Whether you are first, second, third, fourth, fifth – I don't think it really matters at this point. We are trying to keep every game in perspective.
"We have now got a difficult game away at Fleetwood. In the next month there are going to be plenty ups and downs.
"We just have to keep our feet on the ground and maintain a level of consistency that ensures at the end of the season we are there or thereabouts."
Fleetwood have won just once in their last seven outings, but have bolstered their ranks in the past week with the signings of pacy forwards Alex Kiwomya and Devante Cole.
O'Driscoll said: "I watched them against Colchester and they were really impressive. Since then they have drafted in two quick players, it will be an interesting game for us to combat.
"You can't take anything for granted in this league. The fact they have gone out and brought in two players means they are looking to climb the table, rather than looking over their shoulders."
