Physio Marc Czuczman back at Walsall
Walsall today appointed Marc Czuczman as their new first-team physio as he returns to the club.
The 37-year-old is back at the Banks's Stadium after a seven-year absence, having previously been assistant to Jon Whitney.
With the latter having last month moved up to be first team coach, Czuczman is back to replace his old boss, after spells with Oldham, Leeds and the military during his time away from Walsall.
He said: "I was here from 2006 to 2008 as Assistant Physio to Jon (Whitney), so I've got some great memories.
"My first season was with the promotion winning side so it was a great experience for me so early in my career.
"I then moved on to head of medical at Oldham Athletic for three years and two years in military rehab with the First Royal Irish Regiment in Shropshire.
"Then came two-and-a-half seasons with Leeds United, as first-team physio, before a brief stint at Spire Healthcare.
"I've got the excitement back about being in environment where I know it's hard work but fun at the same time.
"I always felt comfortable here and I know it's a place where you can come in and put your ideas forward.
"It helps that I worked with Jon before and we were successful in that period, so I'm hoping we can recreate that again.
"I just want to come in and add a little bit of my experience with other clubs. The set up is more professional here than when I left and there's clearly an ambition to go places."
