The 21-year-old has scored four goals in 15 appearances since initially joining the Saddlers in October.

Under the new agreement, he will remain at the Banks's until January 26 – the maximum period his 'Emergency Loan' could be extended for.

Evans is out of contract at City at the end of the season, with Walsall confirming they will reassess the player's situation once his latest temporary move expires.

His latest extension means Evans is available for four more games, including tomorrow's clash with Coventry and in the League One fixtures against Bury, Blackpool and Fleetwood.
