Meet Walsall heroes of '95
Walsall fans are being invited to take a trip down memory lane with stars of the 1994/95 promotion-winning team.
That Saddlers side, under the guidance of boss Chris Nicholl, won a place in the old Division Two after finishing the campaign as runners up to Carlisle.
Now Nicholl, as well as players Martin O'Connor, Jimmy Walker, Kevin Wilson, Chris Marsh, Scott Houghton, Stuart Ryder, Charlie Palmer, Charlie Ntamark, Colin Gibson, Trevor Wood and Ian Roper are set to relive that season at the Banks's Stadium tomorrow night.
Tickets, priced at £15 for season ticket holders and £20 for the public, are available from the club and include a curry and drink.
"I'm really looking forward to the night," said former midfielder Houghton.
"Some of those lads I haven't seen in years. I played for a lot of clubs but I can honestly say that I never played for a club with as much spirit as Walsall.
"The people, the supporters and the staff were so friendly. It's such a nice club and I can't wait to come back and meet the boys and some of the supporters."
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
