Goal king Tom Bradshaw on radar at Rangers

Runaway Scottish Championship leaders Rangers are the latest club to be linked with a move for Walsall star striker Tom Bradshaw.

The 23-year-old earned his first call-up to the Wales squad last week, although he did not get a kick against the Netherlands.

Twenty goals last season and a further nine so far this campaign for the Saddlers has led to talk of interest from the likes of Blues, Brentford, Cardiff, Preston and Sheffield Wednesday.

Now reports from north of the border suggest Bradshaw has found himself on the wanted list of the Scottish giants.

Meanwhile, skipper Adam Chambers believes Walsall have found a new mental toughness.

The Saddlers, who are third in League One, are the only team in the division to have lost just two games this season. And Chambers thinks that success is down to the team having more self-belief and resilience.

"We are now more mentally tough," the experienced midfielder said. "We have won a few games this year that people have said we wouldn't have won in previous years.

"We have that confidence – this year we are a very positive group and that has been reflected. We have scored late winners and equalisers and when that happens a few times it does give you belief.

We've had some big games this year, three top of the table games, and the lads have performed in all those fixtures."
