The Saddlers forward, who has scored nine goals in 20 games this season, was an unused substitute as Wales fell to a 3-2 defeat to the Netherlands at the Cardiff City Stadium last night.

But despite failing to make it onto the field, Coleman revealed Bradshaw – who has previously represented Wales at under-19 and under-21 level – has impressed him in training.

"Tom has been good," Coleman said. "He has got something Tom Bradshaw. He is a goal scorer and a confident boy.

"He has got that little bit of something in and around the box for sure.

"I think sooner or later Tom will make his debut.

"Look at Tom Lawrence who has had to wait a long time. He has been in a lot of squads and had to wait to come on.

"But I have been impressed with Tom he has done very well."

Meanwhile, Walsall skipper Adam Chambers revealed everyone at the club was delighted to see Bradshaw finally earn a call-up to the senior squad with Euro 2016 just around the corner.

"We always thought he would get a shot and everybody here couldn't be happier for him," he said.

"He is a good lad, he works very hard and he has scored a lot of goals for the club in the time he has been here.

"The important thing is that he enjoyed the experience and hopefully this will just be the start and he will be in many more squads."

Chambers also confirmed Walsall's players who aren't on international duty are making sure they are well rested for Sheffield United's visit to the Banks's next Saturday.

"It's strange not having a game as it's what you look forward to," he added.

"But we have got the weekend off so we have to make the best of that. We're going to get a good rest so we're ready for the Sheffield United game."
