Dean Smith's side, who were one of 36 unseeded teams, will travel to the City Ground in the week commencing August 10.

Saddlers' fans will be hoping for a repeat of last year's first round performance, when goals from Malvind Benning and Kieron Morris secured a 2-1 win on a long away day at Southend.

The last time Walsall faced Forest was in 2008, when the two sides met in League One and played out a 1-1 draw at the City Ground.
