Jordy Hiwula open to extended Walsall stay
Jordy Hiwula has revealed he would be open to signing for Walsall for the whole of next season.
The Manchester City striker admits agreeing a season-long loan deal with the Saddlers is something he will give serious consideration to this summer.
Hiwula has spent the past two months at the Banks's, scoring four goals.
The 20-year-old's current stay was extended through to the end of the current campaign earlier this week and manager Dean Smith is willing to discuss with City the possibility of bringing him back in the longer term.
Hiwula said:
"At the moment I just want to finish the season strongly and hopefully we can finish higher than we are now.
"I think the atmosphere is good, everyone is friendly and gets on. It is a place where everyone wants to work and give 100 per cent.
"That is why people like this place and why I will consider coming back next season."
