The 24-year-old's stunning strike in the Saddlers 3-1 win over Barnsley in December made the shortlist of ten goals.

It came after clubs were asked to submit their best strike of the calendar year. And now supporters will get the chance to vote for it as the overall winner.

Cook is up against goals by Shrewsbury's Andy Mangan and former Saddler Craig Westcarr, who now plays for Portsmouth.

Voting closes at midnight on Tuesday, 24th March when the 10 goals will be whittled down to five remaining contenders.

The overall winner will then be decided on the night at the 2015 Football League Awards.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which takes place at The Brewery in London on Sunday April 19.
