Dean Smith disappointed with Walsall draw
Walsall manager Dean Smith admitted he was disappointed not to take all three points at home to Bradford City in League One.
The Saddlers had to settle for a goalless draw at the Banks's Stadium, after captain Adam Chambers' stoppage-time drive brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Smith said: "We are disappointed we didn't get all three points, but I thought we controlled the game.
"Credit to their players because they defended with 11 men behind the ball and, to be fair, were well organised.
"It's very difficult to break down a team, as well organised as that, but the positive thing for me is the way we moved the ball really well, and it's a clean sheet."
Smith also praised the performance of Liam Kinsella, who started, saying: It's the policy of this club that if you are 18 and good enough, we put you in."
