Boss Dean Smith today hailed sidelined brothers Adam and James Chambers as "role models" at Walsall.

The former Albion twins have impressed Smith this term as the elder statesmen in a young squad.

Smith has been delighted with the pairs' leadership qualities.

He said: "Adam and his brother are role models for the young players. They are really good professionals and their attitude rubs off on others.

"Adam is a big player for us and I thought he'd started the season really well. He doesn't have much luck, he had a couple of injury problems but he still played 35 games last season.

"James has been great too. He's on the comeback trail. He had blood drawn off his thigh muscle but rehab-wise we're hoping three weeks."
