Injured Taundry out for two weeks
Walsall ace Richard Taundry was today ruled out for two weeks with a hamstring injury.
Walsall ace Richard Taundry was today ruled out for two weeks with a hamstring injury.
The right-back limped out of Tuesday's thrilling 3-2 win over Sheffield United and will miss tomorrow's home clash with Hartlepool.
He is also likely to be sidelined for next Saturday's crunch trip to Yeovil and the visit to Sheffield Wednesday on March 20.
"He's had a scan on the hamstring but it's not as bad as we first feared. He'll be out for a couple of weeks but we've got plenty of people who could come in," said boss Dean Smith, with Lee Beevers set to deputise in tomorrow's League One game.
"It'll be a loss because he's been doing really well at right-back. He'll probably agree with me that it's his best position. He came in five games ago and did exceptionally well there. He came in at the end of last season and did well, it's a position which he'll find himself in a lot from now on."
Jamie Paterson is also rated 50-50 with an ankle injury but Adam Chambers and Darryl Westlake are available again after a cut ankle and a twisted ankle respectively.
