Florent Cuvelier today insisted he is relishing Walsall's relegation battle and will give his all to help the Saddlers survive.

The Belgian starlet has impressed in his brief time at the Banks's. The Stoke loanee's month-long deal expires after next weekend's trip to Preston with Cuvelier having played just twice, ahead of today's clash with Wycombe, due to the big freeze.

He grabbed his first senior goal – on his first senior start in England – in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Oldham.

"I'm really enjoying it. I love a challenge in life and it's a big challenge which is coming up for me here," said the Belgian under-19 international.

"I really want to do well here, work hard for the manager and for the fans because they deserve our support too."
