Walsall's home fixture against Colchester Utd has been called off due to a frozen pitch.
Walsall's game against Colchester was called off this afternoon because of a frozen pitch.
Match referee Rob Lewis from Shrewsbury made a 12 noon inspection of the Banks's Stadium pitch and declared it unplayable.
A statement from Walsall said: "While some areas of the surface were playable, a third of the pitch was frozen.
"And with temperatures expected to be around minus four deg C and below tonight, the decision has been made to call the game off."
Walsall's game became the fourth in League One to fall victim to the weather, with Brentford v Oldham, Milton Keynes Dons v Bury and Stevenage v Carlisle already off.
Leyton Orient will hold a second pitch inspection at 9.30am tomorrow to check if their match against Huddersfield will go ahead, while Rochdale, who are due to host Notts County, were set to check at 3.30pm.
In the Championship, Crystal Palace's clash against Doncaster was called off after an inspection this afternoon.
Four League Two matches have been frozen off: - Accrington Stanley v Oxford, Barnet v Swindon Town, Macclesfield v Plymouth and Port Vale v Crewe.
Dagenham & Redbridge v Northampton are inspecting their pitch this afternoon.
