George Bowerman today pledged his future to Walsall until 2013 by penning a new 18-month deal with the Saddlers.
The 20-year-old youth team product has been rewarded for two goals in six substitute outings and the club have an option to extend his stay by another year.
The striker's contract was due to expire this month after he was handed a six-month deal in the summer and boss Dean Smith is pleased to tie him down.
"George has done really well," said Smith. "He has worked extremely hard over the past year or so and thoroughly deserves this new deal."
Bowerman follows Will Grigg and Jamie Paterson in penning new terms at the Banks's Stadium in the last few weeks.
