Darryl Westlake makes call to Walsall

Walsall defender Darryl Westlake today urged the Saddlers to forget about their Bees sting and cash in on Notts County's Italian job.

Westlake and Co crashed to a 1-0 defeat to Brentford, which left them 14th in the League One table and needing to play catch-up on their trip to Meadow Lane this weekend.

The Magpies play Juventus in Turin on Thursday to open their new 41,000-seat stadium, as the clubs have been linked since 1903.

And Westlake wants the Saddlers to capitalise on their hosts' 1,795-mile round trip just 48 hours before their visit.

He said: "They might be leggy, but we've just got to go into our match with the right frame of mind and try to take advantage of that."
