Walsall have handed a trial to young Afan Lido goalkeeper Aaron Ryan.
Ryan is a product of Port Talbot Town's academy and will spend the first week of July with the Saddlers.
The 17-year-old, who has attracted scouts from Bolton, Cardiff, Coventry and Ipswich, played a handful of Welsh League games last season.
The teenager was also included in the Wales development squad and won a Welsh Academy Cup medal at under-16 level with Port Talbot in 2009-10.
Ryan has also been capped by the Boys Clubs of Wales at under-18 level.
Walsall are short of goalkeeping cover after releasing Jonny Brain at the end of last season, while they are waiting on an answer from David Bevan, who was offered another 12-month contract at the end of last season.
Veteran first choice Jimmy Walker has already signed a new one-year deal.
