Stafford Rangers' Kyle Perry excited for Marston Road return
Kyle Perry cannot wait to make his Marston Road return as Stafford Rangers host Whitby Town tomorrow (3pm).
Perry, 31, was Rangers’ top scorer last season and has rejoined them from Evo-Stik Premier rivals Stourbridge.

The striker’s comeback match did not go exactly to plan as they lost 2-0 at Stalybridge Celtic on Tuesday night, and he is determined to help Boro get back on track in front of their own fans.
“I can’t wait, it’s back at Marston Road,” said Perry, who lists the likes of Port Vale, Hednesford Town and Chasetown as former clubs.
“My family will be watching, it’ll be great.
“I should have took my bucket and spade with me on Tuesday, the pitch was covered in sand.
"We had a few chances, but we had a spell in the second half we had a period where we made mistake after mistake – and it cost us.”
Rangers are 18th out of 24 teams in the Evo-Stik Premier and visitors Whitby are two places below. Boss Neil Kitching has urged Boro to be ruthless in front of goal.
“I’m disappointed we lost on Tuesday, but I was happy with the performance,” he said.
“It was the same old story, though. We had the chances but didn’t put them away. We’re looking to grind out a performance and pick up the win.
“I think it’ll turn. We just have to keep working hard.”
Perry was brought in shortly after the departure of 36-year-old forward Karl Hawley, for Sutton Coldfield Town.
Kitching is delighted to have the target man back on the books, and added: “As soon as we knew Karl was going to leave, we had to do something pretty quickly.
“To get Kyle back in, we’re really pleased as we never wanted to lose him in the first place.”
Also in the Evo-Stik Premier, Hednesford Town are aiming to extend their winning run across all competitions to 11 games.
Rob Smith’s charges are currently sixth – one place and one point outside the play-offs – and take on Barwell at Keys Park.
Halesowen Town – who face a four-point deduction that will put them adrift in the one and only relegation place – host Rushall Olympic.
The Pics will head into the game with confidence after a 3-0 victory against Lancaster City on Tuesday night.
Stourbridge head to Witton Albion on the back of reaching the Birmingham Senior Cup semi-finals in the week.
Kidderminster Harriers will be looking to stretch their unbeaten run in National League North to 18 matches when they make the 420-mile round trip to Spennymoor Town.
And in Evo-Stik League Division One South, Chasetown travel to Lincoln United looking to strengthen their grip on a play-off place.
