Luke Rodgers, who featured alongside the Frenchman at New York Red Bulls from 2011 until 2012, has signed for the Keys Park outfit.

He had a spell last term at fellow Evo-Stik Premier side Stourbridge, and lists the likes of Notts County and Shrewsbury Town as old clubs.

The Pitmen have also snapped up defender J'Cee Abraham, midfielder Lee Smith and strikers James Lawrie and Ryan Wynter.

Hednesford boss Neil Tooth said: "Jamie and Luke both bring bags of ability. Lee is a player I’ve admired for years. Ryan and J’Cee are both young with bags of potential."

Meanwhile, Stourbridge defender Darryl Westlake, who used to play for Walsall, has re-signed for next season.
