FA Cup qualifying: Loughborough Dynamo 1 Stourbridge 3 - Report
Stourbridge went through to the second qualifying round of the FA Cup after a comfortable win at the Nanpantan Sports Ground this afternoon.
Two goals from Leon Broadhurst and one from substitute Josh Cooke, a 25 yard drive, saw Gary Hackett's men safely through after a professional second half performance.
Gary Hackett's men famously reached the third round last season and whilst there is a long way to go to replicate that, they will be looking forward to the next round and beyond.
Ryan Rowe set up Aaron Forde for a shot on 51 minutes but it was well kept out by goalkeeper Charlie Taylor, only for Broadhurst to follow up and score.
His second came on 60 when Rowe this time fed Josh Green who laid it off into Broadhurst's path to score from further out this time.
Cooke turned and smashed the ball home from outside the box after coming on as a 76th minute sub before Edilson Antonio reduced the deficit for the home side from close range with five minutes left
