Jordan Archer set to follow Tivi exodus
New Tividale boss Phil Male and Ross Thorpe have been dealt a severe blow as Jordan Archer is set to sign for Redditch United.
The forward, who struck twice at Molineux recently as Tividale retained their J W Hunt Cup title, has been in high-demand and also coveted by the likes of Rushall Olympic and Sutton Coldfield Town.
Redditch, who play in the Southern Premier, one-step above Tividale, had been perusing the young forward midway though last season, but he chose to remain with Tivi.
It will be a vital summer of recruitment for the new bosses, with many of last season's squad, including Chris Field, Paul Evans, Andy Parsons, Ryan Winwood, , Sam Williams, Dave Bellis, Luke Paskin, Danny Ashton, Leigh Downing, Mark Smith, Nigel Penney, Rich Huckfield, Zak Foster and Karl Edwards all opting to follow Long to Alvechurch.
