'Boro were frustrated at home to Carlton Town and now lie four points from fifth.

Kitching said: "I still think we're in the mix, we seem to be picking up points and playing better on the road.

"There are still five to play and we're still chipping away, we want to be in it on the last day of the season (v fifth-placed Gresley).

"If we get six over the Bank Holiday we can put the cat amongst the pigeons."

Rangers face a difficult trip to mid-table Coalville Town tomorrow, before Monday's visit of Chasetown.

They will be without suspended winger Ryan Edmunds, but hope to welcome back Dan Cope (knee) and Christian Dacres (groin).
