It means the second-from-bottom Lockmen head to Herefordshire tomorrow to face basement side Bromyard in a battle to preserve their West Midlands Premier Division status.

Alex Carling saw his header cleared off the line and Andre Calder's header had gone just wide before Rangers took the lead. A 14th-minute free-kick from captain Russell Garner was curled perfectly into the corner of the net.

Reds' Callum Foster saw a shot touched onto the post and Joe Noel's effort beat the keeper but not the man on the line before visiting keeper Steve Booth twice denied Joszef Jakob.

Carling's lob was then chested off the line before Foster deservedly levelled on the half-hour when he forced home a corner.

Rangers then punished their hosts with two similar goals on 59 and 65 minutes. Both were attacks down the left and saw efforts hit the post before Jakob finished both to put them 3-1 up.
