Aston Villa fans warned of 'reduced' rail services ahead of tonight's match against Crystal Palace
Fans travelling to Villa Park to watch Aston Villa take on Crystal Palace may need to find alternative transportation if they were planning to take the train.
West Midlands Railway have warned they will be running a 'reduced service' due to short staffing, which will affect fans travelling between Witton and Aston stations in Birmingham.
The rail service said: "Due to a shortage of available traincrew, there will be a reduced service following the Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace game at Villa Park (K.O. 19:00) this evening (31/08).
"Services following the match will be extremely busy, and a queuing system will be in place at both Aston and Witton.
"Ticket acceptance is in place on National Express West Midlands buses from 16:00 until the end of day."
