Aston Villa's John McGinn nominated for PFA player of the month award
Villa midfield ace John McGinn has been nominated for the PFA Championship player of the month award for March.
The Scot is one of six nominees for the prize, which is sponsored by Bristol Street Motors.
McGinn scored three goals in four appearances to help Villa’s from the bottom half of the table into the play-off positions.
The 24-year-old netted twice in the 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest, before also hitting the target in a 3-0 home victory over Middlesbrough.
Norwich City’s Emiliano Buendia, Sheffield United’s Jack O’Connell, Rotherham’s Semi Ajayi and Leeds United duo Luke Ayling and Pablo Hernandez have also been nominated.
