Aston Villa to open Trinity Road upper tier for Wolves derby
Villa have confirmed they will open the upper tier of the Trinity Road Stand for next month’s derby clash with Championship leaders Wolves.
The promotion rivals meet for a mouth-watering fixture a week on Saturday, March 10 (kick-off 5.30pm).
Villa, who sit third in the table, are targeting their second home sell-out of the season, having currently shifted 33,000 tickets for the match.
They previously sold out earlier this month for the 2-0 Second City Derby win over Blues.
The Wolves game will be just the fourth time the upper tier of the Trinity Road Stand has been opened since Villa's relegation from the Premier League in 2016.
It was first opened for last season's Boxing Day clash with Burton and then last April's derby with Blues.
Supporters who were previously season ticket holders in the Trinity Upper will be able to relocate to their old seats for the Wolves game up until 5pm tomorrow.
To do so, supporters can contact the Villa Park ticket office in 0333 323 1874.
Prices across the stadium for the game are £20 to £33 (adults), £15 to £20 (concessions), £10 to £17 (U21s), £5 to £10 (U16s) and £45 to £55 for a Family Package (two adults and two U16s).
