Jonathan Kodjia going flat out to get Aston Villa goals

Jonathan Kodjia is working at '100 per cent' to try to fire Villa's belated push for the play-off places, says team-mate Mile Jedinak.

The Ivory Coast striker struck his 18th league goal of the season in Tuesday night's 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers, and Jedinak sais the whole team are working hard to 'feed' the goal-hungry £15million recruit.

"He's doing everything he can to get those goals," Jedinak said of Kodjia.

"He's working very, very hard for the team, which we need. He's taking his opportunities. Could have a few more? Probably – he'd be the first to admit that but he isn't resting and he's 100 per cent committed to what we're trying to do. We're all there behind trying to support, trying to feed him, trying to supply him with chances."

Jedinak said the focus was now on recovery ahead of Saturday's trip to Burton Albion. "A small crowd, tight pitch; it's going to be some atmosphere," added the Australian.
