James Chester says there is no reason Villa cannot bounce back with another six or seven-game unbeaten run after their first defeat under Steve Bruce.

Villa host Bruce's former club Wigan Athletic at home on Saturday and Chester said the most important thing for the claret and blues is how they respond to the setback at Leeds.

"It's the first game we've lost in eight under the new gaffer so it's all about how you respond. It's a big game for us next Saturday at home," said the former Albion defender.

"This is the first disappointment but it's how we bounce back. We've started well. It's the first disappointment we've had. I don't see any reason why we can't go on another six or seven-game unbeaten run."

Meanwhile, forgotten man Libor Kozak has been linked with a move back to his former club Lazio in the January transfer window.

Kozak told reporters in Italy he would be keen on a move back. He said: "I have no words to describe the Lazio fans. Every adjective would be superfluous... I'll never forget them."
