Aston Villa make three offers with trio set to depart
Villa have made offers for three players while Joleon Lescott, Carlos Sanchez and Scott Sinclair could all be set to depart.
Boss Roberto Di Matteo has told defender Lescott he can leave Villa Park, while Fiorentina are in discussions over Sanchez.
Sinclair, meanwhile, is the subject of a fifth bid from Celtic. The Scottish club have been chasing the forward all summer and Villa are considering their latest offer, with Di Matteo set to make a decision sometime today.
Di Matteo said: "It's a fresh bid. He (Sinclair) has been very professional over pre-season and has been committed.
"We will obviously have to see how the next 24 hours develops."
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is eager to get the deal done before Monday's deadline for the final Champions League qualifying round.
With Villa demanding Fiorentina take Sanchez permanently, Lescott has meanwhile been told he can leave with Leeds United thought to be his most likely destination.
The defender joined Villa in a £2million deal from Albion last summer but endured a miserable campaign, incurring the wrath of fans when he tweeted a picture of a brand new Porsche just hours after February's 6-0 defeat to Liverpool.
Di Matteo would not be drawn on which players the club had submitted bids for but is keen to bring in another striker and a defender, following Ciaran Clark's departure to Newcastle earlier this week.
Manchester United centre-back Paddy McNair is thought to be among Villa's targets.
