Bookies have taken a host of bets this afternoon for Aston Villa target Nigel Pearson to be named the new Derby County manager

Pearson was 12/1 with SkyBet yesterday, but is now as short as 1/4 following a flurry of bets on the former Leicester manager.
That would leave Roberto Di Matteo as the hot favourite to take the Villa job.
He is currently available at 4/7.
Pearson is still 2/1 for the job with Hull City manager Steve Bruce 12/1
