The Villans overcame Swansea City 2-1 in last night's semi-final, thanks to Rushian Hepburn-Murphy's second-half penalty.

Hepburn-Murphy fired just over before Rory hale hit the bar inside the opening quarter of an hour.

The match became more end-to-end, with Hepburn-Murphy and Hale – twice – going close for Villa before Hale finally put the Midlanders in front in the 36th minute, finishing well at the end of some strong pressure.

However, the Swans levelled just three minutes later through Kenji Gorre.

Villa would have the last laugh though as Keinan Davis won a penalty in the 54th minute and Hepburn-Murphy made no mistake from the spot to restore the visitors' lead as they advanced to the final, where they will face either Arsenal or Blackburn.
