Adama Traore back and eager to do battle for Villa
Winger Adama Traore has expressed frustration at his lengthy injury lay-off – and vowed to do what he can to help Villa avoid relegation against Bournemouth tomorrow.
Villa will be relegated from the top flight for the first time since 1987 if they fail to match Norwich City's result at Crystal Palace.
Traore, signed from Barcelona last summer, is back in the squad after three months out with a broken foot and admits watching from the sidelines has made him 'sad'.
"I haven't been happy not being able to help," he said. "Nobody likes to be at the bottom of the table – and I have felt sad because I haven't been able to contribute to the team and help my team-mates in the side.
"It's been very frustrating watching on and not being able to get out there and make a difference on the pitch with my performances.
"I am looking to make an impact now and try to help change the situation and make a big contribution."
