Guus Hiddink raps Villa boss Remi Garde

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has hit out at Remi Garde after the Aston Villa boss revealed his interest in Blues striker Loic Remy.

Hiddink feels Garde should have spoken to him before announcing he wanted to sign the France international.

Villa want to take the striker on loan to boost their survival hopes, with the club bottom of the Premier League and 11 points from safety.

Garde confirmed his interest yesterday morning to leave Hiddink, who returned to Stamford Bridge to replace Jose Mourinho this month, unhappy.

Hiddink said: "From our point of view, I don't think we or the management will go into a similar situation.

"You have to respect where the players are. If you are interested, talk first to the people with whom they are contracted."

Remy has started just once in the Premier League this season and scored three goals in 14 appearances.

Meanwhile, Libor Kozak will be allowed to leave Villa next month if the striker can secure a move.

Celtic have been linked while Birmingham wanted Kozak, who has been out for almost two years with a broken leg, on loan in November.

Garde said: "Libor has a possibility to leave if he wants. It could be a permanent move."
