Paris attacks: Aston Villa issue security advice for supporters
Aston Villa have issued some guidelines to supporters ahead of their forthcoming Premier League games as they increase security at Villa Park in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
The Stade de France – which was hosting an international friendly between France and Germany at the time – was one of the targets during the attacks on Friday, November 13.
Starting with Saturday's home clash with Watford, supporters will be subjected to spot checks with metal detectors in the turnstile area, as well as spot checks on vehicles.
All bags will be searched so fans are asked not to take on along, unless absolutely necessary. To help with higher levels of security all fans are asked to:
Arrive no later than 30 minutes before kick-off 2.30pm for the Watford game.
If arriving by car and using the Holte or North Stand Car Parks, bring the car park pass.
Approach the turnstiles with coats and jackets unfastened and open.
