Boss Tim Sherwood says the 28-year-old will be give until the last possible moment to prove he has recovered from a hamstring injury.

"It will be touch and go," said Sherwood.

"We have been treating him and assessing every day and he's very close."

Defender Ciaran Clark is out after suffering an ankle ligament injury at Spurs, while Alan Hutton (ankle) will also not play.

But Ashley Westwood and Scott Sinclair are back, while Sherwood confirmed Shay Given will start in goal.

"He's done nothing wrong and he's largely the reason that we are in the semi-final," the boss said.
