Charles N'Zogbia backed to make Aston Villa impact
Boss Paul Lambert today insisted Charles N'Zogbia can make a Villa impact this season.
The winger is back in training after being out for a year with a ruptured achilles.
N'Zogbia was expected to leave Villa before suffering the injury but will be welcomed back into Lambert's squad. "Charles can definitely be a big player," he said.
"He has come back from his injury and is looking pretty good."
N'Zogbia was joined by fellow long-term injury victory Jores Okore after the defender recovered from a cruciate knee ligament injury.
Libor Kozak has resumed light training after breaking his leg in January but Christian Benteke is still out following the ruptured achilles which ruled him out of the World Cup.
Samir Carruthers has recovered from a knee injury and will be keen to show the boss what he can do.
