Aston Villa youngster Callum Robinson gunning for Euro glory
Callum Robinson today admitted he wants to cash in on a dream season by firing England to the European Championships.
The Villa starlet is eyeing more success with the under-19s this summer after his claret and blue breakthrough.
Noel Blake's team need just a draw against Ukraine on Thursday to reach the European Championships in Hungary this July after a 2-1 win over Scotland yesterday.
Robinson scored in the 6-0 rout of Montenegro at the Banks's Stadium on Saturday and revealed he is revelling in his achievement this season.
"It's been a season I wouldn't have expected really. So many positive things have come from it," he said.
"I made my debut in September in a Capital One Cup game and then I was on the bench about six or seven times in the Premier League.
"Then I made my Premier League debut against Southampton (in April) and the Villa fans were incredible that day. The reception was something I could never have dreamt of.
"I wasn't that nervous when the manager told me that he bringing me on. But when I heard the reception I thought 'wow'."
