Former Aston Villa player Dennis Jackson passes away aged 82

Aston Villa today announced the death of former defender Dennis Jackson at the age of 82.

He went on to play 80 times for Millwall before returning to non-league football with Rugby Town.

He later managed Villa Old Stars.

A Villa statement said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Dennis Jackson at this very sad time."
